Our home is an Edwardian semi detached house in a very pleasant residential area. The house is spread over three floors and has three bedrooms (two doubles and a single). The sitting room with TV is at the front of the house. There is a games room and also a large kitchen with dining area which leads onto the patio and garden through french windows. The garden is large by urban standards and has a dining table and chairs for al fresco dining (English weather permitting).
We are within a short walk (5 minutes) of the railway station. and the centre of Winchester (10 minutes)
There are two large supermarkets within a 10 minute walk.

There are interesting walks around Winchester including the water meadows (where Keats was inspired to write Ode to Autumn), St. Catherines Hill and St. Giles Hill. Lots of lovely old streets to wander around and of course many traditional pubs to be found.
