The house is in a pretty historic village, close to Derby which is the centre of the UK rail network. Trains to London twice an hour take 1 hr and 40 mins. There are also train links to Scotland, Wales ,Cornwall & Devon in the South West, and Newcastle and Sunderland in the North East.
There are flights from East Midlands to all major European cities and holiday resorts.
This is a lovely area, on the edge of the National Forest , within walking distance for National Trust property Calke Abbey, 8 miles from Kedleston Hall and an hour`s drive from Chatsworth and the Peak District
